Wireless Temperature Monitoring
CoolPac’s Synapse wireless temperature monitoring system allows you to reliably and effortlessly monitor your Cold Chain performance whether it be in a warehouse, on trucks, in one location or many, or any combination of these.
Up to 2032 Synapse wireless sensors use receiver stations and your existing wireless intranet to give you the ability to view, monitor and interrogate your cold chain data from anywhere in the world !
Use the Synapse System to make your Cold Chain reliable…
- Improved sensor accuracy.
- Remove unqualified staff and cobbled-together systems from your monitoring loop.
- Make Cold Chain performance information available simultaneously throughout your organization.
- Report on your Cold Chain status
SENSORS: CoolPac’s Synapse monitoring system is composed of up to 2032 wireless sensors (127 per receiver and 16 receivers). These can be easily moved any time by staff with only basic training. Wireless sensors can also be installed into the wall of a container so that all readings are comparable both through time for a single container, and also between containers. This compares favourably with the often used method of throwing a log tag into some random position within a container. The sensors we use have an accuracy range is 0.5° compared to 1° for most.
RECEIVERS: You can have up to 16 receivers in a Synapse system. Receivers can be in the same warehouse or in warehouses that are geographically separated, but connected via the same computer network.
SYNAPSE SERVER: This is where all the data collected from your sensors is stored.
CLIENT PCs: You can have as many licensed computers as you need to monitor the Synapse information. This means that both operational and strategic users can have access to the same information at the same time.
While in your depot the sensors are in constant contact with the Synapse system so there can be real time monitoring of conditions. If you’re monitoring a container in a transport vehicle, when it leaves your depot and moves out of range of the Synapse receiver, the wireless sensor automatically detects this and stores the information in its internal memory. Then when the sensor comes in range of your Synapse receiver, it senses this too, and automatically uploads the information to the Synapse system. The Synapse System that a sensor uploads to might be located at the container’s departure depot. But equally it might be located at its destination depot.
With the Synapse system, the data is there and ready to be reported on as soon as your transport vehicle enters your depot. You can choose from any number of reports and present them graphically, tabularly, for a specific time period, based on exceptions such as high temperatures that you define, and all for a specific sensor, or for many sensors in many places. Alarms can be sent by email, as a voice message, as an email or can be viewed on the wireless sensor. HACCP compliance is a breeze when using the Synapse System.
A Validation Tool Kit is available to provide documented evidence that the system is operating as expected.
